Sidi Ifni
A former Spanish town facing the ocean, gateway to Legzira beach
AI-generated illustration
Sidi Ifni was a Spanish enclave until 1969, and it shows: white and blue façades, Art Deco buildings and a large central square. Perched above the ocean, the town has kept a calm, slightly timeless atmosphere. People come to wander, surf, paraglide above the cliffs and above all to visit Legzira beach to the north, famous for its red rock arches. One of the two arches collapsed in 2016, but the site remains spectacular, especially at low tide and at sunset.
