The best spots for your level and the season

Morocco's Atlantic coast receives consistent swell from October to April. Taghazout is the most complete base for surfing, while Essaouira and Dakhla are references for kitesurfing and windsurfing thanks to their steady winds.
Beginners
Choose the sandy beaches of Tamraght and Taghazout, or the Dakhla lagoon for kitesurfing. In summer, waves are smaller and easier.
Experienced surfers
The point breaks around Taghazout and the Imsouane wave are at their best in winter, with a suitable wetsuit.
